What is TopVoice?
TopVoice is your tool to turn your everyday word of mouth into rewards and recognition from the brands you love and for which you have a positive influence.
How does it work?
It is very simple. You join TopVoice either from our website or our Facebook application. From there, you simply keep using the ʻLikeʼ button from Facebook or the Stamp button from TopVoice to express and share with friends your opinion on brands, ads and products you love.
Every time a friend or another user of TopVoice is influenced by your comments, stamps or posts, your score of influence will increase; pretty easy isnʼt it? It can even happen when your are offline. The higher your score, the more often you can be rewarded through Exclusives offers and discounts from your favorite brands.
How do you calculate the influence?
Your influence is calculated in 3 ways:
- An overall score that is an average of the influence you have for all the brands you have liked or stamped.
- A ranking for each brand that you have liked or stamped. Your Top 10 positions will be displayed on your “Stampometer” visible on your Dashboard.
- A ranking by product category for the Guru in you, who really knows a specific topic of interest and can highly influence peers with his opinion.
Whatʼs in it for me?
The interest of TopVoice is that it never ends, there are always new rewards, discounts, exclusive privileges and even VIP treatments offered by participating brands.
For your particularly, it means that you can get access to the exclusives offered by the brands you “liked” or on which you have put your “Stamp of Approval”. Requirements to access exclusive offers will differ from one brand to another, as it is up to each of them to define eligibility.
Make sure to visit your dashboard regularly. Your influence can be growing even when you are offline; so track your progress and visit your favorite brandsʼ Wall of Fame to see their TopVoicesʼ exclusives of the moment and to find out if you are ranking high enough to enter their Wall of Fame.
What is the Wall of Fame?
The Wall of Fame is the tool that TopVoiceʼs participating brands use to acknowledge, thank and reward their best Fans. Brandsʼ Wall of Fame are displayed on their Fan Page on Facebook and the Brandʼs Voice Star and Top Voices are officially acknowledged and rewarded in many different ways. Rewards and Exclusives are solely at the brandsʼ discretion and may importantly vary from one brand to the other and TopVoice cannot guarantee their value or frequency. Exclusives could be, for example, access to privileged information, free tickets to events, VIP Events, gifts or discounts.
Is it possible for me to enter a Brandʼs Wall of Fame even if I my overall score is not among the highest scores?
Absolutely! and this is what makes TopVoice so fun. Having influence for a specific brand depends on several factors, the brandʼs popularity, your number of friends, your own level of activities, your level of engagement, your friendsʼ engagement and more; so yes, it is definitely possible to be among the Top Voices of a brand, and to enter its Wall of Fame, without being among the highest TopVoiceʼs scores.
Can I earn more influence points by stamping a product over another one? or an ad over a product?
The answer to that is no. For us, all brands, products or ads are equal; thus, feel free to go with what you really like. The difference in influence points will be only dependent on the factors described in the previous question.
If the score of influence is based on my level of activities, including sharing with friends, does it mean that I have to spam my friends in order to enter a Brandʼs Wall of Fame or to become a Top Voice?
No, you donʼt have to, and this is why for every opportunity to stamp a product or ad, we also give you the option to suggest to a friend. This way you can select only the friends you think will be interested in the product or ad you want to share. TopVoice is not about spamming your friends, TopVoice is about you being rewarded for your everyday brands conversations that you naturally have with friends about stuff you want or have.
Is TopVoice free?
Absolutely, totally free.
I have a TopVoice account on TopVoice.com, can I create another one on the Facebook application?
TopVoice.com and TopVoice Facebook application are linked together, therefore, joining TopVoice from either place will create the same account linked to your Facebook account.
This means that you can interact with TopVoice from one or the other site or even from the brandʼs Wall of Fame and we will aggregate your information and points of influence. Our goal is to make your participation as easy as possible.
How many things can I stamp?
There are no limits to the number of things you can stamp, so enjoy, explore, like and stamp as much as you want; just be careful to not dilute your influence which could be the case if you literally stamp everything.
Is there more value in a ʻLikeʼ or a “Stamp”
There is absolutely no difference in the value of a Faceook ʻLikeʼ or a TopVoice Stamp, your influence from each will be calculated the exact same way.
Some ʻLikesʼ that I have on my Facebook account do not show up as part of My Stamps, while some others do. Why is this?
TopVoice turns ʻLikesʼ into Stamps only when they are brands, ads or products. Therefore, your ʻLikesʼ on an article for example, will not be added to your Stamps and will not earn you any influence points. However, if some of your ʻLikesʼ on products are not imported on your TopVoice account, please contact us or send us your comments through our Feedback button.
Will I get spam from advertisers?
No, you will not. We do not share your email or other personal information with brands. Only you can decide to authorize brands to contact you directly. See our Privacy Policy for more details.
Can I earn rewards for my overall Score of influence or are rewards only attached to my ranking as a TopVoice for my favorite Brands?
From time to time, TopVoice may organize promotions and offer rewards to its users independently of, or sometimes in collaboration with, the TopVoiceʼs participating brands. In those cases, the overall Score might be used to determine the Winner of our promotion.
